Performance/education ผลจากการดำเนินงานจัดระบบส่งเสริมการผลิตปศุสัตว์ในโรงเรียน ทำให้โรงเรียนมีผลผลิตโปรตีนประเภทเนื้อสัตว์เพียงพอ โรงเรียนส่วนใหญ่สามารถผลิตไข่ไก่ให้นักเรียนบริโภคได้คนละไม่น้อยกว่า 3 ฟอง/สัปดาห์ มีผลผลิตเหลือขายสู่ชุมชน มีเงินกองทุนดำเนินกิจกรรมได้ต่อเนื่อง สามารถจัดซื้อจัดหาพันธุ์สัตว์ อาหารสัตว์ ได้โดยไม่ต้องรอการสนับสนุนจากภาครัฐ หลายโรงเรียนสามารถขยายพันธุ์สัตว์และขยายผลการผลิตปศุสัตว์สู่ครัวเรือนผู้ปกครองนักเรียน โรงเรียนสามารถพึ่งตนเองได้ เป็นแหล่งถ่ายทอดความรู้การผลิตปศุสัตว์สู่โรงเรียนอื่นและผู้สนใจทั่วไป โดยทุกปีมีการคัดเลือกโรงเรียนโครงการตามพระราชดำริ กิจกรรมปศุสัตว์ดีเด่น ระดับเขต จำนวน 8 เขตพื้นที่ๆละ 3 โรงเรียน และเสนอชื่อโรงเรียนอันดับที่ 1 ระดับเขต จำนวน 8 โรงเรียน เข้าคัดเลือกโรงเรียนฯ กิจกรรมปศุสัตว์ดีเด่นระดับประเทศ โดยมีรายชื่อโรงเรียนที่ได้รับรางวัล ชนะเลิศ ประจำปี 2551 – 2557 ดังนี้
