นางอรรชกา สีบุญเรือง รองปลัดกระทรวงอุตสาหกรรมเปิดเผยว่า กระทรวงอุตสาหกรรมได้ร่วมกับจังหวัดนครราชสีมา จังหวัดสงขลา จังหวัดชลบุรี จังหวัดพิษณุโลก และผู้ประกอบการธุรกิจด้านงานโครงสร้างงานระบบ และงานก่อสร้างที่ร่วมสนับสนุน อาทิ บริษัท กระเบื้องโอฬาร จำกัด ผู้นำในธุรกิจกระเบื้องภายใต้ชื่อ “กระเบื้องตราลูกโลก”, บริษัท เอเซ็ดคิง จำกัด ผู้นำด้านกล้องวงจรปิด แบรนด์ “ไฮวิว” ,บริษัท เหล็กสยามยามาโตะ จำกัด ผู้ผลิตเหล็กโครงสร้างรูปพรรณ , บริษัท วิค แอนด์ ฮุคลันด์ จำกัด (มหาชน) ผู้ผลิตท่อ HDPE คุณภาพสูงในการจัดโครงการ “อปท.อุตสาหกรรมสัญจร 2013” ขึ้นเพื่อร่วมนำเสนอแนวคิดเกี่ยวกับนวัตกรรมการแสดงสินค้า และการประชุมวิชาการสำหรับภาคอุตสาหกรรมที่เกี่ยวข้องกับงานโครงสร้างก่อสร้าง และงานระบบให้กับองค์การบริหารส่วนท้องถิ่น ตั้งแต่ระดับองค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัด (อบจ.) และองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบล (อบต.)ทั่วประเทศ โดยจะจัดกิจกรรมในระดับภูมิภาคที่จังหวัดนครราชสีมา, สงขลา, ชลบุรี และพิษณุโลก ในระหว่างเดือนตุลาคม 2556 – มกราคม 2557
“โครงการ อปท.อุตสาหกรรมสัญจร 2013 เป็นโครงการที่จัดขึ้นต่อเนื่องหลังประสบความสำเร็จจากการจัดโครงการในปี 2012 ที่ผ่านมาโดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเสริมสร้างแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้ และเทคโนโลยีใหม่ๆ ทางด้านอุตสาหกรรมที่เกี่ยวข้องกับงานโครงสร้างงานระบบ และงานก่อสร้างเพื่อการพัฒนาท้องถิ่น และเป็นเวทีสัมมนาวิชาการทางด้านอุตสาหกรรมเพื่อให้เกิดวิสัยทัศน์ในการวางแผน รวมถึงได้ร่วมแลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์ระดมสมอง ระหว่างหน่วยงานภาครัฐ ภาคประชาสังคม ภาคการศึกษา และภาคเอกชนเจ้าของนวัตกรรม และเทคโนโลยีทางด้านอุตสาหกรรมต่างๆ โดยมีกลุ่มเป้าหมายผู้เข้าร่วมงานประกอบด้วย หน่วยงานราชการท้องถิ่นองค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัด เทศบาล องค์การบริหารส่วนตำบล ภาคประชาสังคม และ มหาวิทยาลัย จำนวนทั้งสิ้นกว่า 7,000 คน โดยมีการประเมินผลที่คาดว่าจะได้รับ ได้แก่ การส่งเสริมภาพลักษณ์ในด้านการสนับสนุนภาคอุตสาหกรรมสู่ระดับ อบต. อบจ. เทศบาล และหน่วยงานราชการในจังหวัดเป้าหมาย และจังหวัดข้างเคียงเพื่อให้มีโอกาสในการรับรู้เทคโนโลยี และนวัตกรรมใหม่ๆ จากเจ้าของผลิตภัณฑ์ นอกจากนี้ยังเป็นการกระตุ้น และสร้างเครือข่ายร่วมกันระหว่าง กรมส่งเสริมการปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่น บริษัทที่เข้าร่วมโครงการ และองค์การบริการส่วนท้องถิ่นเพื่อการพัฒนาท้องถิ่นอย่างยั่งยืน” นางอรรชกา กล่าว
