2. ทางด้านการเมือง >> จากแรงงานรวมกลุ่มกันเป็นสหภาพแรงงาน ทำให้แรงงานรวมตัวกันจนมีพลังบีบบังคับรัฐบาลและรัฐสภาให้ออกกฎหมายที่เป็นประโยชน์แก่งานได้ เช่น กฎหมายขั้นต่ำ กฎหมายคุ้มครองแรงงาน กฎหมายกำหนดชั่วโมงทำงานและสวัสดิการต่างๆเป็นต้น
3. ทางด้านสังคม >> การที่คนเราอยู่รวมกันเป็นสังคมมักจะทำให้เกิดกิจกรรมทางสังคม เช่น โรงเรียน สนามเด็กเล่น ที่พักผ่อนหย่อนใจ ฯลฯ ในการที่อยู่ร่วมกันนี้ย่อมมีปัญหาเกิดขึ้น ดังนั้นคนงานจะเป็นแรงผลักดันให้รัฐบาลแก้ไขปัหาสังคม เช่น ปัญหาการขาดแคลนที่อยู่อาศัยปัญหาโรคภัยไข้เจ็บมีโรงพยาบาลไม่เพียงพอ เป็นต้น
