งานวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ดังนี

งานวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ดังนี้ 1) เพื่อศึกษาการเตรียมความพร้อมของนักศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยธุรกิจบัณฑิตย์เพื่อเข้าสู่ประชาคมเศรษฐกิจอาเซียน 2) เพื่อศึกษาการรับรู้ถึงผลกระทบที่เกิดจากการเปิดประชาคมเศรษฐกิจอาเซียนนักศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยธุรกิจบัณฑิตย์ 3) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบการเตรียมความพร้อมในการเข้าสู่ประชาคมเศรษฐกิจอาเซียนของนักศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยธุรกิจบัณฑิตย์จำแนกตามปัจจัยส่วนบุคคล และ 4) เพื่อศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่าง การรับรู้ถึงผลกระทบที่เกิดจากการเปิดประชาคมเศรษฐกิจอาเซียนกับการเตรียมความพร้อมเพื่อเข้าสู่ประชาคมเศรษฐกิจอาเซียนของนักศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยธุรกิจบัณฑิตย์ งานวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงสำรวจ (Survey Research) โดยใช้แบบสอบถาม (Questionnaire) เป็นเครื่องมือในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล ตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในงานวิจัย คือ นักศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยธุรกิจบัณฑิตย์ ปริญญาตรี ปริญญาโท และปริญญาเอก คณะบริหารธุรกิจ คณะนิติศาสตร์ และคณะนิเทศศาสตร์ จำนวน 463 คน ทำการสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบแบ่งชั้นภูมิ (Stratified Sampling) วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติเชิงพรรณนา (Descriptive Statistics) และสถิติเชิงอนุมาน (Inferential Statistics) ผลจากการวิจัยสรุปได้ดังนี้
