การค้นคว้าอิสระนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อศึกษาระดับความพึงพอใจของผู้ปกครองต่อการบริหารงานศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็กขององค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลนาเรียง 2) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบความพึงพอใจของผู้ปกครองต่อบริหารงานศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็กขององค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลนาเรียง จำแนกตาม เพศ รายได้ อาชีพ ระดับการศึกษาระหว่างผู้ปกครองของนักเรียนที่สำเร็จการศึกษาและนักเรียนที่กำลังศึกษาอยู่ และ 3) เพื่อศึกษาข้อเสนอแนะของผู้ปกครองต่อบริหารงานศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็กขององค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลนาเรียง โดยประชากรที่ใช้ในการศึกษาครั้งนี้ ได้แก่ ผู้ปกครองเด็กเล็กที่ส่งบุตรหลานเข้าไปเรียนในศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็กขององค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลนาเรียง อำเภอพรหมคีรี จังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช ประจำปีการศึกษา 2557 และผู้ปกครองของนักเรียนที่สำเร็จการศึกษาโดยกำหนดขนาดกลุ่มตัวอย่างของเครจซี่และมอร์แกน (Krejcie & Morgan, 1970,pp,607-610) ได้จำนวน 118 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล เป็นแบบสอบถามแบบปลายปิด วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยโปรแกรมคอมพิวเตอร์สำเร็จรูปโดยใช้โปรแกรมสำเร็จรูปทางสถิติ วิเคราะห์หาค่าความถี่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ค่า Z - test ค่า F - test และ LSD method
