วัดมหาธาตุ จ.สุโขทัย

ภายในมีโบราณสถานที่สำคัญ ประกอบด้วย

พระวิหารหลวง ตั้งอยู่ด้านหน้าพระมหาธาตุเจดีย์ เป็นพระวิหารโถงใหญ่ขนาด 11 ห้อง เสาก่อด้วยศิลาแลง ท้ายพระวิหารปรากฎฐานชุกชี ซึ่งเคยเป็นที่ประดิษฐาน พระศรีศากยมุนี พระพุทธรูปสำริดขนาดใหญ่ ซึ่งพระมหาธรรมราชาลิไทย ทรงโปรดฯให้หล่อขึ้น เมื่อปี พ.ศ. 1905 ภายหลังได้อัญเชิญไปยังวิหารหลวงวัดสุทัศน์เทพวราราม กรุงเทพมหานคร ในสมัยรัชกาลที่ 1 แห่งกรุงรัตนโกสินทร์
พระวิหารสูง ตั้งอยู่ด้านหน้าพระวิหารหลวง เป็นพระวิหารซึ่งสร้างขึ้นภายหลัง ศิลปะแบบอยุธยา ความสูงพระอุโบสถหมือนอย่างเช่นวัดในอยุธยา ก่อด้วยอิฐ เสาก่อด้วยศิลาแลง ภายในพระวิหารประดิษฐานด้วยพระพุทธรูปปูนปั้น ศิลปะอยุธยา เป็นประธาน

มณฑปพระอัฏฐารศ ตั้งอยู่ด้านข้างทั้งสองของมหาธาตุเจดีย์ ภายในประดิษฐานพระพุทธอิริยาบถยืน ที่มีนามว่า พระอัฎฐารศ ความสูงราว 18 ศอก สร้างตามคติแบบลังกาวงศ์ ซึ่งสามารถพบได้ที่วัดอื่นๆ อีกเช่น วัดสะพานหิน และวัดมหาธาตุเชลียง
เจดีย์ห้ายอด ตั้งอยู่ด้านข้างมณฑปด้านทิศใต้ เป็นเจดีย์ก่อด้วยอิฐ ประดิษฐานด้วยพระพุทธรูปางมารวิชัยอยู่ทั้งสามด้าน บริเวณฐานเจดีย์ประดับด้วยปูนปั้นรูปมารแบกของ ช้าง สิงห์ และรูปเทวดา เชื่อกันว่าเป็นเจดีย์บรรจุพระอัฐิของ พระมหาธรรมราชาลิไท

มณฑปพระอัฏฐารศ
ตั้งอยู่ด้านข้างพระมหาธาตุเจดีย์ ภายในประดิษฐานพระอัฏฐารศ ความสูง 18 ศอก เป็นพระพุทธรูปที่นิยมสร้างตามแบบลังกาวงศ์

เจดีย์ห้ายอด
