"ทุ่งดอกกระเจียว" เกิดจากดอกกระเจียวป่า หลากหลายสายพันธุ์ ที่พร้อมใจกันขึ้นรายรอบบริเวณ ของอุทยานฯและจะมีอยู่บริเวณหนึ่งใช้พื้นที่หลายไร่ ที่จะมีดอกกระเจียวขึ้นอย่างหนาแน่นจนกลายเป็นทุ่ง ซึ่ง เวลามองดูก็จะเห็นเป็นสีชมพูปนขาว และมีสีเขียวของลำต้ันและก้านใบเป็นสีเขียวสด ประกอบกับสีเขียว ของหญ้าทีขึ้นมาแซม ทำให้ทุ่งกระเจียว เขียวขจี สวยงามเหมือนกับทุ่งในทรวงสวรรค์เลย โดยในช่วงฤดูฝน เริ่มต้นเดือนมิถุนายน ถึง ปลายเดือนกรกฎาคม ของทุก ๆ ปี ต้นกระเจียวจะออก ดอกสวยงามตระการตาไปทั่วผืนป่า จัดได้ว่าเป็น "นางเอกของอุทยานฯ" ก็ว่าได้ ทั้งนี้เพราะดอกกระเจียว จะไม่มีให้เห็นเลยนอกเสียจากในช่วงเวลาที่ว่านี่เท่านั้น...
