1. ความเป็นมา

ตามที่โครงการปริญญาเอกกาญจนาภิเษก (คปก.) สำนักงานกองทุนสนับสนุนการวิจัย ได้ให้ทุนสนับสนุนการศึกษาสำหรับนักศึกษาปริญญาเอกและได้ตั้งคณะผู้ประสานงานทำงานในรูปแบบเครือข่ายเพื่อดำเนินกิจกรรมที่ส่งเสริมการศึกษาและสนับสนุนการทำงานวิจัยของนักศึกษาและอาจารย์ที่ได้รับทุน คปก. เครือข่าย คปก. ภายในภูมิภาคได้ดำเนินกิจกรรมส่งเสริมและสนับสนุนเพื่อเสริมสร้างความเข้มแข็งให้นักศึกษาได้ฝึกนำเสนอและรายงานความก้าวหน้างานวิจัยโดยได้จัดเวทีนำเสนองานในรูปแบบสัมมนาที่มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ในปี พ.ศ. 2552 และ 2554

จากความสำเร็จของโครงการ มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์และคณะวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีอุตสาหกรรม วิทยาเขตสุราษฎร์ธานีได้เห็นความสำคัญของการดำเนินกิจกรรมเพื่อบรรลุเป้าหมายของ คปก. กอปรกับการยกระดับความสามารถทางวิชาการของนักศึกษางานวิจัยและเพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมการเข้าสู่ประชาคมอาเซียนให้บัณฑิตสามารถแข่งขันได้ และเพื่อให้ผู้ประกอบการทางด้านอุตสาหกรรม รวมทั้งนักศึกษาได้รู้ถึงความต้องการงานวิจัยในภาคอุตสาหกรรม ในปีนี้จึงได้จัดโครงการสัมมนาวิชาการภายใต้หัวข้อ Cutting Edge of Rubber and Polymer Technology toward APEC 2018

2. วัตถุประสงค์


2.1 เพื่อให้นักศึกษาระดับปริญญาเอกได้มีโอกาสนำเสนอความก้าวหน้าในรูปแบบการนำเสนอผลงานวิชาการระดับสากล
2.2 เพื่อกระตุ้นให้เกิดบรรยากาศทางวิชาการบัณฑิตศึกษาในระดับนานาชาติและรองรับการเข้าสู่ประชาคมอาเซียน
2.3 เพื่อเป็นเวทีแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้และประสบการณ์การวิจัยและสร้างความร่วมมือระหว่างเครือข่ายวิจัย และ ประชาคมอุตสาหกรรมในจังหวัดภาคใต้ตอนบน

4.4 อาจารย์ นักวิชาการ และผู้สนใจจากหน่วยงานทั้งของภาครัฐและเอกชน

5. ผลที่คาดว่าจะได้รับ


5.1 นักศึกษาปริญญาเอกในโครงการกาญจนาภิเษก ได้ประสบการณ์การนำเสนอผลงาน
5.2 คณาจารย์ นักวิจัย ได้แลกเปลี่ยนและได้พัฒนาเครือข่ายวิจัยให้เข้มแข็งและตอบสนองต่อการเปิดเขตเศรษฐกิจเสรีอาเซียน
5.3 มีนักศึกษาและผู้สนใจศึกษาในระดับบัณฑิตศึกษามากขึ้น
5.4 เกิดการแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้และโจทย์วิจัยระหว่างนักวิจัยและภาคอุตสาหกรรม
