ดังที่กล่าวมาข้างต้นป่าชายเลนมีคุณประโยชน์มากมาย แต่ในปัจจุบันนี้ป่าชายเลนได้รับผลกระทบจากสิ่งต่าง ๆ มากมายทั้งจากน้ำมือมนุษย์ที่ต้องการที่ทำกินแล้วบุกรุกเข้าไปในป่าชายเลน หรือแม้กระทั่งน้ำเสียจากโรงงานก็ส่งผลกระทบต่อระบบนิเวศน์ของป่าชายเลนเป็นอันมาก ดังนั้นในปัจจุบันนี้ป่าชายเลนจึงมีจำนวนลดน้อยลงไปอย่างต่อเนื่องซึ่งหากเป็นเช่นนี้ต่อไปป่าชายเลนที่มีคุณประโยชน์นี้คงจะเสียหายจนหมดไป ดังนั้นทางคณะผู้จัดทำจึงจัดทำโครงการที่จะพัฒนาความรู้เกี่ยวกับป่าชายเลนให้กับน้องๆนักเรียนโรงเรียนวัดคลองสวนทั้งในเรื่องของการปลูกและการอนุรักษ์ป่าชายเลน อีกทั้งยังเป็นการส่งเสริมให้น้องๆใช้เวลาว่างในช่วงวันหยุดสุดสัปดาห์ให้เป็นประโยชน์รวมถึงเป็นการปลูกจิตสำนึกให้น้องๆว่าในพื้นที่ของตนเองนั้นมีทรัพยากรธรรมชาติที่สำคัญอยู่ซึ่งควรที่จะให้ความสำคัญไม่ไปทำลายหรือทำให้ป่าชายเลนนั้นสกปรก



1.3วัตถุประสงค์

1. เพื่อให้นักเรียนได้ตระหนักและเกิดจิตสำนึกต่อการอนุรักษ์ป่าชายเลนในท้องถิ่น

2. เพื่อให้นักเรียนรักและหวงแหนทรัพยากรในท้องถิ่น

3. เพื่อให้นักเรียนได้รู้ถึงประโยชน์ของป่าชายเลน

4. เพื่อให้นักเรียนได้ลงมือปลูกป่าจริงๆและรู้สึกหวงแหนกับป่าชายเลนที่นักเรียนได้ปลูกขึ้นมาเอง

5. เพื่อให้นักเรียนมีความสามัคคีกัน และสามารถทำงานเป็นกลุ่มได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ

6. เพื่อให้นักเรียนได้ใช้เวลาว่างให้เกิดประโยชน์



1.4ประโยชน์ที่คาดว่าจะได้รับในระดับกลุ่มเป้าหมาย
