พิธีไหว้ครูเป็นพิธีสำคัญที่จัดขึ้นเป็นประจำทุกปีเพื่อให้นักศึกษาได้แสดงออกถึงความกตัญญูกตเวทีต่อครู อาจารย์ และสืบสานประเพณีอันดีงามให้คงอยู่สืบต่อไป ในปีการศึกษา 2558 จัดขึ้นเมื่อวันพฤหัสบดีที่ 10 กันยายน 2558 ณ หอประชุมมหาวิทยาลัยหัวเฉียวเฉลิมพระเกียรติ โดยได้รับเกียรตจาก รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ประจักษ์ พุ่มวิเศษ อธิการบดี เป็นประธานในพิธี ซึ่งท่านได้กล่าวแสดงขอบคุณหน่วยงาน คณะต่าง ๆ ที่ร่วมจัดพิธีไหว้ครูในวันนี้ พร้อมมอบโอวาท “ขอให้นักศึกษาทุกคนนึกถึงพระคุณของคุณพ่อคุณแม่ให้มาก และมีความกตัญญูต่อท่าน ความกตัญญูเป็นคุณธรรมสูงสุดที่ยั่งยืน หนึ่งในคุณธรรม 6 ประการของมหาวิทยาลัยที่ยึดมั่นมาโดยตลอด นั่นคือ ขยัน อดทน ประหยัด เมตตา ซื่อสัตย์ กตัญญู และร่วมแสดงความยินดีแก่นักศึกษาที่มุ่งมั่นในการทำดีมาโดยตลอดจนได้รับรางวัลประกาศเกียรติคุณในวันนี้” ภายในงานจัดให้มีกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ อาทิ การขับร้องประสานเสียงเพลงประจำมหาวิทยาลัย การบรรเลงดนตรีไทย การมอบประกาศเกียรติคุณแก่นักศึกษาที่เรียนดี กิจกรรมเด่น และมีความประพฤติเรียบร้อย จำนวนทั้งสิ้น 505 คน และกิจกรรที่ จะพลาดไม่ได้คือ การประกวดพานไหว้ครู ซึ่งผลการประกวดปรากฏว่า คณะศิลปศาสตร์ ได้รับรางวัลชนะเลิศประเภทสวยงาม และคณะนิเทศศาสตร์ได้รับรางวัลชนะเลิศประเภทความคิดสร้างสรรค์
