เหนื่อยแต่สนุก..พี่ๆส่วนใหญ่เป็นอีสานเฮฮา..
หากถามว่าทำงานที่นี่เหนื่อยไหม..ขอบอกว่าเหนื่อยมากๆ อย่าง ผม ทำเป็นพาร์ทไทม์วันธรรมดาก็จะทำ 4 ชั่วโมง ส่วนวันหยุดก็จะทำ 7 ชั่วโมง..หลายครั้งที่ทำแล้วเหนื่อย..นอนไม่พอ แต่พอได้เห็นพี่ๆคนอื่นๆ เขาชวนคุย เขานั่งเมาท์กันก็หายเหนื่อยทันที..ผม จำคำพูดของพี่คนหนึ่งซึ่งเป็นซุปเปอน์ไวเซอร์ของร้านได้เสมอเลยว่า "ทำงานเอ็มเคเหนื่อยกายมากๆ แต่พอมานั่งคุย มาเล่นเล่นตามประสาคนทำงานด้วยกัน ก็หายเหนื่อยทันที" พี่ๆส่วนใหญ่ที่นี่เป็นคนภาคอีสาน ดังนั้นเรื่องความฮาไม่ต้องพูดถึง มีให้ฟังได้หัวเราะกันทุกเบรคครับ..
จากวันแรกที่เข้ามาผ่านมาได้ 1 ปี ผม ก็ได้เลื่อนตำแหน่งกับเขา..[โอ้..ตำแหน่งแรกในชีวิต] จากตำแหน่งเสริฟ์เป็นตำแหน่งจดบิลครับ..ตำแหน่งจดบิลเป็นตำแหน่งที่ยืนถือปาล์มรับออเดอร์อยู่ด้านหน้านั้นเอง..การที่จะขึ้นสู่ตำแหน่งนี้ไม่ใช่ง่ายๆนะ ต้องมีการสอบกันด้วย..
และตำแหน่งนี้เอง..ทำให้ ผม ขาดทุนมากๆ เพราะตอนใช้ปาล์มแรกๆ ก็จิ้มผิด จิ้มถูก ลูกค้าสั่งก๋วยเตี๋ยวหลอด ดันไปกดปอเปี๊ยสด..แล้วน้องๆรู้ไหมว่า..รายการอาหารที่จดผิด คนจดต้องรับผิดชอบเองครับ..จำได้ว่าเดือนแรกที่ได้เป็นจดบิล เสียค่าอาหารที่จดผิดไปหลายร้อยทีเดียว..อิอิ..
นานาสารพัดลูกค้า..ต้องเอาใจ..
เคยเป็นแต่ลูกค้ารอรับการบริการ..แต่พอได้มาเป็นคนให้บริการ แทบแย่เลยครับ..เพราะลูกค้ามีหลายอารมณ์ หลายสารพัดรูปแบบ ทั้งยั่วโมโห กวนวาจา แต่ไม่ว่าจะมารูปแบบไหน ในฐานะพนักงานก็ต้องยิ้มรับครับ..หากอึดอัดใจต้องเก็บไปร้องไห้ด้านหลัง ห้ามให้ลูกค้าเห็นเด็ดขาด..อย่างลูกค้าที่ ผม เจอก็มีทั้งดี และไม่ดี ก็จะขอยกตัวอย่างเล่าให้ฟังแล้วกันครับ..
ลูกค้าโต๊ะหนึ่งยกมือเรียกให้ ผม ไปเช็คบิลจ่ายเงิน..ลูกค้ารายนี้ขอจ่ายเงินด้วยบัตรเคดิต..แต่กลับพูดว่า "เดี๋ยวน้องเอาบัตรนี้ไปให้แคชเชียร์นะ..อย่าไปยุ่งกับมันมาก เดี๋ยวพัง มันทำยากนะ น้องคงไม่เข้าใจหรอก ลำพังเงินเดือนก็คงไม่มีโอกาสใช้แล้วซินะ"..ตอนนั้น ผม โมโหมากเลยครับ..ไม่พูดอะไรแต่ก็ยิ้มรับ พร้อมนำบัตรไปให้แคชเชียร์โดยด่วน..ก่อนจะเดินไปตั้งสติอารมณ์ด้านหลังร้าน..พี่ๆคนอื่นๆเห็นก็เข้ามาปลอบว่า นี่แค่เล็กๆ บางคนปาบัตรใส่หน้าเลยก็มี
ขณะที่ลูกค้าดีๆก็มีอยู่เยอะ..อย่างเช่นลูกค้าคนนี้ที่เห็น ผม กำลังวุ่นอยู่กับการรับออเดอร์จดเหงื่อตก..ก็เลยส่งกระดาษทิชชูมาให้ พร้อมบอกว่า "ซับเหงื่อหน่อยนะ..อย่าหักโหมมาก เป็นห่วงค่ะ"..คำสั้นๆแค่นี้หละ..ปลื้มไปทั้งวันเลยครับ..
ไม่ดีไปแล้ว ดีไปแล้ว มากันที่ลูกค้าตลกกันบ้าง วันนั้นมีลูกค้าโต๊ะหนึ่งครับ..หลังจากที่จ่ายเงินเสร็จแล้ว..ก็ทยอยกันเดินออกไป แต่ ผม ก็สังเกตว่า เอ๊ะ..ทำไมเขาเดินเข้าข้างใน ทั้งๆที่ประตูก็อยู่ทางนี้..สักพักลูกค้ากลุ่มนั้นก็เดินมานั่งที่โต๊ะตัวเดิม แล้วยืนคุยกัน จากนั้นก็เดินเข้าไปข้างในอีกที..ไม่นานก็เดินออกมายืนที่โต๊ะตัวเดิมอีกครั้งเป็นรอบที่ 3 ผม จึงเดินเข้าไปถามว่า "ไม่ทราบลืมอะไรไว้หรือเปล่าครับ"..ลูกค้าตอบมาทันทีเลยว่า.."ทางออกอยู่ไหนค่ะ? เป็นประสบการณ์การทำงานในช่วงปิดเทอม ของผมมาทำงานพาร์ทไทม์ ค่าน้ำ ค่าไฟ ที่บ้านคุณพ่อคุณแม่ไม่เคยได้จ่ายเลยครับ..
