การสอนก็ไม่มีเวลาที่แน่นอน แล้วแต่อารมณ์ของพระอาจารย์ บางทีก็สอนหลังฉันเช้าแล้วบ้าง บางทีก็สอนหลังจากที่ท่านจำวัดกลางวันแล้วบ้าง ส่วนกลางคืนนั้น สอนแต่เพียงสวดมนต์ หรือท่องบ่นวิชาที่เรียนมาในตอนกลางวัน

โดยทั่วไปนั้น ไม่มีการสอนหนังสือ เขียนหนังสือกัน เนื่องจากในสมัยโบราณ ไม่มีไฟฟ้าใช้ เหมือนอย่างในสมัยปัจจุบัน และบางวันก็ได้สอนบางวันก็ไม่ได้สอน เพราะพระอาจารย์ติดกิจนิมนต์บ้าง หรือไปธุระบ้าง จิปาถะ
