โครงการนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ในการออกแบบเก้าอี้ปรับระดับสำหรับผู้สูงอายุเพื่อช่วยให้ผู้สูงอายุสะดวกในการลุกขึ้นยืนจากเก้าอี้ ไม่ต้องใช้แรงในการพยุงตัวมาก โดยคิดค้นการนำแม่แรงมาใช้ในการช่วยพยุงเก้าอี้ให้สามารถช่วยดันตัวให้ลุกยืนได้ง่ายขึ้น ช่วยลดปัญหาบาดเจ็บข้อมือเคล็ดได้
