กรมศุลกากร เตรียมแก้กฎหมาย สำแดงสินค้านำเข้าเกิน 10,000 บาท พร้อมจับตาไฟล์ทกลับจากยุโรป เกาหลี ญี่ปุ่น หลังพบคนขนสินค้ามาขายของออนไลน์จำนวนมาก

เมื่อวันที่ 22 กุมภาพันธ์ 2558 นายไพศาล ชื่นจิตร รองอธิบดีกรมศุลกากร กล่าวว่า ในขณะนี้กรมศุลกากร กำลังศึกษาเกี่ยวการแก้ไขกฎหมายสำแดงสินค้านำเข้า โดยจะพิจารณาจากอัตราการยกเว้นภาษีเพิ่มขึ้น ซึ่งปัจจุบันกำหนดว่า สินค้านำเข้าที่มีราคาเกิน 10,000 บาท ต้องสำแดงต่อศุลกากร โดยที่จะมีการปรับกฎหมายให้เทียบเคียงกับอาเซียน แต่ยังไม่สรุปว่าเท่าใด

ทั้งนี้ นักท่องเที่ยวที่ซื้อของฝาก หรือซื้อของที่มูลค่าเกิน 10,000 บาท ต้องสำแดงรายการต่อเจ้าหน้าที่ เพื่อเสียภาษีไม่เกินร้อยละ 30 และหากสินค้าที่นำเข้ามูลค่าไม่เกิน 10,000 บาท ก็ไม่ต้องสำแดง ซึ่งศุลกากรเอง จะเพิ่มช่องทางการเสียภาษี ให้สามารถชำระผ่านบัตรเดบิตและบัตรเครดิตได้อีกด้วย

จากสถิติที่ผ่านมา พบว่า ได้มีการลักลอบนำเข้าสินค้าเพิ่มขึ้น โดยเฉพาะการขายสินค้าออนไลน์ ซึ่งเจ้าหน้าที่เอง จะเข้มงวดกับกลุ่มผู้ที่เดินทางมาจากยุโรป ฮ่องกง เกาหลี และญี่ปุ่น มากเป็นพิเศษ
