ทุกๆ โครงการลงทุนของวิสาหกิจต่างชาติจะได้รับการส่งเสริมการลงทุน
ดังต่อไปนี้
∝ กำไรของวิสาหกิจที่นำไปขยายกิจการที่ได้รับอนุญาต จะได้รับ
การยกเว้นอากรกำไรในปีบัญชีนั้นๆ
∝ วิสาหกิจต่างชาติสามารถส่งผลกำไร ทุน และรายรับอื่นๆ
กลับประเทศของตน หรือประเทศที่สาม โดยผ่านธนาคารที่ตั้งอยู่ใน สปป.ลาว
ได้ ภายหลังที่ได้ปฏิบัติตามพันธะทางภาษีอากรและค่าธรรมเนียมต่างๆ
ตามระเบียบกฎหมายแล้ว
∝ ได้รับยกเว้นภาษีนำเข้าและอากรที่เก็บจากการนำเข้าอุปกรณ์
เครื่องอะไหล่ พาหนะการผลิตโดยตรง วัตถุดิบที่ไม่มีอยู่ภายใน สปป. ลาว
หรือมีแต่ไม่เพียงพอ ผลิตกึ่งสำเร็จรูปที่นำเข้ามาเพื่อแปรรูปหรือประกอบเป็น
