งานวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อพัฒนารูปแบบการพัฒนาครู โรงเรียนคาทอลิกขนาดใหญ่ สังกัดอัครสังฆมณฑลกรุงเทพฯ การดำเนินการวิจัยแบ่งออกเป็น 6 ขั้นตอน คือ ขั้นตอนที่ 1 การศึกษาเอกสารและงานวิจัยที่เกี่ยวข้อง ขั้นตอนที่ 2 ศึกษาเชิงลึกเกี่ยวกับการพัฒนาครูของโรงเรียนคาทอลิกขนาดใหญ่จำนวน 3 โรงเรียน ขั้นตอนที่ 3 การศึกษาเชิงลึกเกี่ยวกับการพัฒนาครูของโรงเรียนต้นแบบจำนวน 3โรงเรียน ขั้นตอนที่ 4 การวิเคราะห์จากข้อมูลในขั้นตอนที่ 2 และขั้นตอนที่3 โดยใช้วิธีการจับคู่ (Pattern Matching) มาร่างรูปแบบการพัฒนาครูโรงเรียนคาทอลิกขนาดใหญ่ สังกัด อัครสังฆมณฑลกรุงเทพฯ ขั้นตอนที่ 5 การสนทนากลุ่ม เพื่อยืนยัน ความเหมาะสมของรูปแบบ และขั้นตอนที่ 6 นำเสนอรูปแบบการพัฒนาครูโรงเรียนคาทอลิก ขนาดใหญ่ สังกัดอัครสังฆมณฑลกรุงเทพฯ
