STEP 1 Cut the outer part of your tote bag according to the measurements for piece A. Then cut two smaller sections, to beused as a lining over theh andles, (piece B). Finally, cut two handles (piece C).
STEP 2 Fold piece A together, inside-out,so the height is 40cm. Then sew the two sides together according to the dotted line. Leave a 2cm seam allowance between the edge of the bag and the dotted line.Then fold down 2cm from the top edge of the bag and sew a seam for a smooth finish.
STEP 3 Sew the two lining sections together at either end, inside out and according to the dotted line. Leave a 2cm seam allowance. Fold down the bottom and top edges and sew according to the dotted lines.
