วิจัยเล่มนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อแรงจูงใจใฝ่สัมฤทธิ์ในการเรียนภาษาต่างประเทศของนักเรียน โรงเรียนวรนารีเฉลิม จังหวัดสงขลา ประกอบด้วยพฤติกรรมการเรียนภาษาต่างประเทศและปัจจัยต่างๆ ที่ส่งผลต่อแรงจูงใจใฝ่สัมฤทธิ์ กลุ่มตัวอย่างคือ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 6 แผนการเรียนด้านภาษา ปีการศึกษา 2558 โรงเรียนวรนารีเฉลิม จังหวัดสงขลา จำนวน 120 คน เครื่องที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล คือ แบบสอบถามประเมินความพึงพอใจ 5 ระดับ สถิติที่ใช้ใน การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ( ) และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน (S.D.)
ผลการศึกษาวิจัย พบว่า พฤติกรรมการเรียนภาษาต่างประเทศของนักเรียน โรงเรียนวรนารีเฉลิม จังหวัดสงขลา มีดังนี้ พฤติกรรมภายในห้องเรียน มีค่าเฉลี่ยอยู่ในระดับบ่อยครั้ง ( = 4.08) และพฤติกรรมภายนอกห้องเรียน มีค่าเฉลี่ยอยู่ในระดับบ่อยครั้ง ( = 3.77) ส่วนของปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อแรงจูงใจใฝ่สัมฤทธิ์ในการเรียนภาษาต่างประเทศ มีดังนี้ ปัจจัยภายในมีค่าเฉลี่ยอยู่ในระดับมาก ( = 4.27) และปัจจัยภายนอกมีค่าเฉลี่ยอยู่ในระดับมาก ( = 3.98)
