บทคัดย่อ
โครงการนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ในการออกแบบการสร้างและติดตั้งกังหันลมที่ผลิตกระแสไฟฟ้า เพื่อลดมลภาวะที่เป็นพิษ เป็นที่ทราบกันว่าแหล่งผลิตพลังงานไฟฟ้าส่วนใหญ่ใช้หลักการเผาไหม้น้ำมันเชื้อเพลิงเป็นหลัก ซึ่งวิธีดังกล่าวเป็นการสร้างมลภาวะเป็นพิษ อีกทั้งยังมีการคาดการณ์จากนักวิทยาศาสตร์ถึงจำนวนน้ำมันดิบที่ลดลงในอนาคต ในปัจจุบันนักวิทยาศาสตร์ และวิศวกรต่างมุ่งหาแหล่งพลังงานทดแทนน้ำมันเชื้อเพลิงโดยคำนึงถึงสิ่งแวดล้อมที่ดีด้วย เพราะฉะนั้นในโครงการนี้ผู้ดำเนินโครงการได้ทำการศึกษาการผลิตพลังงานไฟฟ้าโดยกังหันลมแบบแกนนอน ขนาด 200 วัตต์ ณ คณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ เพื่อเป็นอุปกรณ์ในการผลิตไฟฟ้าสำหรับการใช้งานในระบบแสงสว่างเพื่อเป็นการประหยัดพลังงานไฟฟ้าและสามารถลดค่าใช้จ่ายในเรื่องของค่าไฟได้ส่วนหนึ่ง และเป็นการสนับสนุนการนำแหล่งพลังงานทดแทนมาใช้ให้เกิดประโยชน์ อีกทั้งสามรถนำกันหันลมผลิตไฟฟ้าเป็นมาใช้ในการส่งเสริมและพัฒนาให้นักศึกษาได้เกิดการเรียนรู้ คิด วิเคราะห์ สังเคราะห์ และเกิดองค์ความรู้สามารถสร้างกังหันลมเพื่อการผลิตไฟฟ้าและสามารถนำมาใช้ประโยชน์
