1.1 ความสาคัญและที่มาของปัญหา
งานวิจัยทางด้านฟิสิกส์ศึกษา เป็นการศึกษาความรู้ความเข้าใจแนวคิด และหลักการพื้นฐานทางฟิสิกส์ของนักเรียน เพื่อนาผลการวิจัยมาช่วยพัฒนารูปแบบการเรียนการสอนให้มีประสิทธิภาพมากขึ้น จากผลการวิจัยทางด้านฟิสิกส์ศึกษาในหัวข้อไฟฟ้ากระแสตรง พบว่าผู้เรียนส่วนใหญ่ยังขาดความรู้ความเข้าใจแนวคิดพื้นฐานของวงจรไฟฟ้าอยู่ [1-5] ซึ่งจากงานวิจัยทั้งในประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกา [1-4] หรือในประเทศไทย [5] ต่างพบลักษณะความเข้าใจที่คลาดเคลื่อน (Misconception) ที่มีลักษณะคล้ายกัน แสดงให้เห็นว่าความเข้าใจที่คลาดเคลื่อนเหล่านี้พบได้ทั่วไปในผู้เรียนที่เริ่มเรียนฟิสิกส์เกี่ยวกับไฟฟ้ากระแสตรง ไม่ว่าจะใช้ภาษาหรือมีวัฒนธรรมการเรียนรู้ที่ต่างกันเพียงใดแต่ความเข้าใจที่คลาดเคลื่อนก็คล้ายกัน
เนื่องจากประเทศสาธารณรัฐประชาธิปไตยประชาชนลาว (ซึ่งต่อไปนี้จะเรียกสั้นๆว่า ประเทศลาว) ได้นาหลักสูตรของประเทศไทยไปเป็นแนวทางในการทาหลักสูตรของประเทศลาว แต่ครูลาวยังมีคุณวุฒิและความรู้ที่ต้องการพัฒนาเป็นอย่างมาก แต่การพัฒนาครูอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพต้องการแนวทางที่ชัดเจน ซึ่งการที่จะกาหนดแนวทางที่ชัดเจนได้จาเป็นต้องอาศัยข้อมูลจากงานวิจัยเกี่ยวกับครูในแง่ความเข้าใจฟิสิกส์ซึ่งการทาวิจัยทางด้านฟิสิกส์ศึกษาในประเทศลาวยังมีน้อยมาก ทาให้ขาดแคลนองค์ความรู้และข้อมูลในการนาไปพัฒนาครู งานวิจัยนี้จึงมีวัตถุประสงค์ในการสารวจความเข้าใจของครูลาวระดับมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลายในหัวข้อไฟฟ้ากระแสตรง เพื่อจะได้ข้อมูลที่เป็นประโยชน์ต่อการนาไปสร้างสื่อการอบรมครูที่มีประสิทธิภาพ และยังเป็นประโยชน์ต่อการนาข้อมูลไปใช้ในการสร้างกรอบการอบรมครูต่อไป
