2.2 เพื่อพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตราษฎรให้ดีขึ้น รวมทั้งบริหารจัดการทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อมตามแนวทางคนอยู่ร่วมกับป่าในลักษณะ “ บ้านเล็กในป่าใหญ่ ”
2.3 เพื่ออนุรักษ์และฟื้นฟูสภาพต้นน้ำ ให้มีความอุดมสมบูรณ์
2.4 เพื่อเป็นข้อมูลในการกำหนดแนวทางการอนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรป่าไม้อย่างยั่งยืนต่อไป
