การเรียนรู้ภาษาอังกฤษหรือภาษาใดก็แล้วแต่มีเพียง 4 ทักษะหลักๆที่เราจะต้องเรียนรู้ คือ ฟัง พูด อ่าน และเขียน ก่อนทำการศึกษาเราควรรู้ระดับของตัวเองก่อนว่าภาษาเราแย่มาก แย่ ใช้ได้ ดี หรือ ดีมากแค่ไหน วิธีทดสอบไม่ต้องไปหาแบบทดสอบมาทำให้ยุ่งยากเพราะเรารู้ตัวเราเองอยู่แล้วว่าเราอยู่ระดับไหน เพียงแค่ไม่โกหกตัวเองเป็นพอ เสร็จแล้วตั้งเป้าหมายหรือหาจุดมุ่งหมายของการเรียนว่าเราจะพัฒนาทักษะด้านใดดี ขั้นตอนต่อไปก็เพียงแค่เริ่มลงมือและอดเท่านั้นเอง ช่องทางและวิธีขออธิบายในลำดับต่อไป
