การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาปัญหาความล่าช้าในการทำรายงานประเมินราคาหลักประกัน และวิธีการแก้ไขปัญหาดังกล่าว ตามตัวแปร คุณลักษณะส่วนบุคคลและทัศนคติที่มีต่อความล่าช้านั้น โดยมีกลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ศึกษาจำนวน 46 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการทำวิจัย คือ แบบสอบถาม มี 2 ตอน สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย (x ̅) และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน (S.D.) วิเคราะห์โดยใช้โปรแกรม Microsoft Excel
จากผลการวิจัยพบว่า หากพิจารณาจากค่าเฉลี่ยแล้วพบว่าปัญหาที่ทำให้เกิดความล่าช้ามากที่สุดจากกลุ่มตัวอย่างทั้ง 46 คนพบว่าปัญหาเรื่องการขอตรวจสอบเอกสารที่ สนง.ที่ดิน พบว่าเป็นปัญหาที่มีความล่าช้าที่สุด คือร้อยละ 4.54 ซึ่งผู้ศึกษาและทำวิจัยในครั้งนี้จะได้นำเสนอกับหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องเพื่อหาทางแก้ไขปัญหาดังกล่าวต่อไป เช่นอาจจะมีการเสนอซื้อระวางแผนที่และประสานงานกับหน่วยงานสำนักงานที่ดินในการอำนวยความสะดวกให้กับพนักงานของธนาคารต่อไป ส่วนทัศนคติของกลุ่มตัวอย่างเกี่ยวกับการแก้ไขปัญหาความล่าช้านั้นพบว่ากลุ่มตัวอย่างทั้ง 46 คนเสนอธนาคารต้องกำหนดนโยบายในการขอเอกสารที่สำคัญต่อลูกค้าเพื่อเป็นประโยชน์ต่อการประเมินราคา คิดเป็นร้อยละ 4.61 โดยประเด็นนี้ผู้สำรวจและทำวิจัยในครั้งนี้เห็นสมควรเสนอให้มีการจัดประชุมระหว่างพนักงานสินเชื่อ และผู้จัดการฝ่ายประเมินราคาเพื่อกำหนดนโยบายในการขอตรวจสอบเอกสารที่จำเป็นต้องใช้ในการประเมินราคากับลูกค้าเพื่อที่จะได้ลดปัญหาในการที่ฝ่ายประเมินต้องมาคอยตามเอกสารดังกล่าวทำให้เกิดความล่าช้าในการประเมินราคาได้
