1. ประชากรประชากรที่ใช้ในการวิจัยในครั้งนี้ได้แก่นักท่องเที่ยวชาวไทยที่เดินทางมาท่องเที่ยวอุทยานประวัติศาสตร์ปราสาทหินพิมาย จำนวนประชากรงสิ้น(ข้อมูลปี 2550) นักท่องเที่ยวชาวต่างประเทศ 9,260 คน / ปี นักท่องเที่ยวชาวไทย 166,500 คน /ปี รวมเป็น 175,760 เป็นฐานข้อมูลในการกำหนดจำนวนประชากร
2 การกำหนดขนาดตัวอย่างกลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ได้แก่กลุ่มนักท่องเที่ยวชาวไทยที่อุทยานประวัติศาสตร์
ปราสาทหินพิมาย เดินทางมาท่องเที่ยวที่ทั้งเพศชายและเพศหญิงได้กลุ่มตัวอย่างจำนวน 400 คนซึ่งคำนวณโดยใช้สูตรยามาเน่ที่ระดับความเชื่อมันร้อยละ 95 และมีความคลาดเคลื่อนได้ร้อยละ 5 ดังสูตรต่อไปนี้
