จาก สถานการณ์ โลกร้อน ทำให้เกิดผลกระทบในหลายๆๆพื้นที่ ตามที่ได้ทราบข่าวแล้วตามหน้าทีวีและหนังสือพิมพ์ และในช่วงที่ผ่านมา ทะเลอ่าวไทย ทั้งหมด ก็ได้รับผลกระทบ ด้วยเช่นกัน ผลกระทบที่ได้คือ กระแสน้ำอุ่นไหลเข้ามาในพื้นที่ อ่าวไทย ทำให้อุณหภูมิทะเลแถวอ่าวไทยอุณหภูมิสูงขึ้น3-5องศา เป็นผลให้ สิ่งมีชีวิต ต่างๆๆได้รับผลกระทบ รวมทั้งแนวประการังของไทยด้วย จาก ผลกระทบเรื่องอุณหภูมิน้ำทะเลที่สูงขึ้น ทำให้ ปะการังชายฝั่งเกิดการชะงักการเจริญเติบโต และบางส่วนเกิดการฟอกขาว(ปะการังตาย)

• ช่วยแก้ปัญหาด้านทรัพยากรทางทะเล สร้างสมดุลในธรรมชาติ เพื่อดึงดูดสัตว์น้ำให้เข้ามาอยู่อาศัย ช่วยให้สัตว์น้ำมีแหล่งอาหาร-แหล่งอนุบาลสัตว์น้ำ ใช้เป็นที่อยู่อาศัยของสัตว์น้ำทะเลและช่วยเพิ่มปริมาณสัตว์น้ำ
