    3.5 อำเภอเกาะช้าง  ได้แก่
    อุทยานแห่งชาติหมู่เกาะช้าง  มีเนื้อที่ทั้งสิ้น ๖๕๐ ตารางกิโลเมตร ประกอบด้วยเกาะต่าง ๆ ที่มากถึง ๕๒ เกาะ เกาะที่สำคัญที่สุด คือ เกาะช้าง นอกจากนี้ยังมีเกาะอื่น ๆ ที่ยังคงสภาพความสวยงามตามธรรมชาติ ได้แก่ เกาะคลุ้ม เกาะเหลายาใน เกาะง่าม เกาะไม้ซี้ใหญ่ เกาะหวาย เกาะรัง ฯลฯ  ที่ทำการอุทยาน ฯ ตั้งอยู่ทางฝั่งตะวันออกของเกาะใกล้คลองธารมะยม บริเวณด้านหน้ามีท่าเทียบเรือขนาดใหญ่  สถานที่น่าสนใจบนเกาะ ได้แก่
บริเวณยุทธนาวีเกาะช้าง ที่อยู่ทางตอนใต้ของเกาะ น่านน้ำทะเลตราด บริเวณอ่าวสลักเพชร อ่าวสลักคอก เป็นหน้าหนึ่งของประวัติศาสตร์การต่อสู้เพื่อปกป้องอธิปไตยของไทย เมื่อวันที่ ๑๗ มกราคม พ.ศ.๒๔๘๔
อ่าวคลองสน เป็นอ่าวที่อยู่ทางเหนือสุดของเกาะ เป็นที่ตั้งของชุมชนบ้านคลองสน  ใกล้บริเวณอ่าวมีแนวปะการังใต้น้ำที่สวยงาม มีที่พักบริการ
น้ำตกคลองนนทรี เป็นน้ำตกขนาดเล็ก อยู่ทางทิศตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือของเกาะ มีทางเดินเท้าจากบ้านด่านใหม่ตามทางเดินเท้า ๓ กิโลเมตร หรือจากที่ทำการอุทยานฯ เป็นระยะทาง ๔ กิโลเมตร
น้ำตกธารมะยม อยู่หลังที่ทำการอุทยาน ฯ เดินผ่านสวนเข้าไปประมาณ ๕๐๐ เมตร เป็นน้ำตกขนาดกลาง มี ๔ ชั้น ชั้นที่ ๓ เป็นชั้นที่สวยงามที่สุด รัชกาลที่ ๕ และรัชกาลที่ ๗ และสมเด็จพระนางเจ้ารำไพพรรณี เคยเสด็จประพาสมายังน้ำตกนี้ โดยมีพระปรมาภิไธยย่อ จปร. สลักอยู่ที่บริหน้าผาน้ำตกชั้นบน
น้ำตกคลองพลู  เป็นน้ำตกขนาดใหญ่ที่สวยงามที่สุดของเกาะช้าง มีน้ำตกไหลผ่านหน้าผาลงแอ่งเบื้องล่าง น้ำตกมี ๓ ชั้น ทางเข้าอยู่ห่างจากอ่าวคลองพร้าว ๓ กิโลเมตร จากนั้นต้องเดินป่าอีกประมาณ ๒๐ นาที
หาดทรายขาว อยู่ทางตอนกลางของเกาะช้างด้านตะวันตก เป็นหาดทรายทอดยาว เล่นน้ำได้โดยมีโรงแรมและที่พักนักท่องเที่ยวตลอดแนวชายหาด 
บ้านสลักเพชร เป็นชุมชนใหญ่และเก่าแก่ที่สุดของเกาะช้าง ตั้งอยู่ทางตอนใต้ของเกาะ ชาวบ้านประกอบอาชีพทำการประมงชายฝั่ง มีหมู่เกาะและทิวเขาโอบล้อมช่วยกำบังคลื่นลมได้ดี  หน้าหมู่บ้านมีวัดเก่าแก่ คือ วัดสลักเพชร ซึ่งสร้างในสมัยรัชกาลที่ ๕  อ่าวสลักเพชรเป็นอ่าวที่ใหญ่ที่สุดบนเกาะ
น้ำตกคีรีเพชร เป็นน้ำตกชั้นเดียว อยู่ห่างจากชุมชนบ้านสลักเพชรผ่านสวนยางเป็นระยะทาง ๓ กิโลเมตร
น้ำตกคลองหนึ่ง เป็นน้ำตกขนาดเล็ก ใกล้น้ำตกคีรีเพชร – บ้านโรงถ่าน  อยู่ลึกเข้าไปในชุมชนสลักเพชรเข้าไปประมาณ ๒ กิโลเมตร แล้วเดินเท้าอีกประมาณ ๔๘๐ เมตร ตัวน้ำตกไหลทิ้งตัวลงมาจากช่องเขาแคบ ๆ ที่มีความสูง ๑๒๐ เมตร สามารถลงเล่นน้ำได้
ชุมชนบ้านโรงถ่าน เป็นชุมชนเล็ก ๆ ตั้งอยู่บริเวณอ่าวสลักเพชร ทางตอนใต้ของเกาะ นักท่องเที่ยวนิยมไปขมทิวทัศน์
อ่าวใบลาน อยู่ถัดจากหาดไก่แบ้ไปทางทิศใต้ด้านตะวันตกของเกาะช้าง  มีทางเท้าตัดผ่านภูเขา ใช้เวลาเดินเท้าจากหาดไก่แบ้ประมาณ ๑ ชั่วโมง ระหว่างทางสามารถมองเห็นทัศนียภาพที่สวยงามของทิวเขา ปัจจุบันมีถนน รถยนต์ผ่านตลอดไปจนถึงบ้านบางเบ้า
หาดคลองพร้าว-แหลมไชยเชษฐ์ เป็นหาดทรายที่มีความยาวต่อเนื่องไปจนถึงหาดไก่แบ้ หาดทรายบริเวณนี้มีความลาดมาก สามารถเล่นน้ำได้  มีที่พักบริการตลอดแนวชายหาด
เกาะช้างน้อย อยู่ทางด้านเหนือของเกาะช้าง บริเวณท้องน้ำระหว่างแหลมช้างน้อยกับเกาะช้าง จะมีแนวปะการังอยู่ด้วย
เกาะมันนอก-เกาะมันใน เป็นเกาะเล็ก อยู่ตรงข้ามหาดไก่แบ้ เมื่อน้ำลดจะมีหาดอยู่รอบ ๆ เกาะ ท้องน้ำ บริเวณเกาะค่อนข้างตื้น
เกาะคลุ้ม เหมาะสำหรับการตกปลา มีทัศนียภาพแปลกตาของลานหิน คือ หินลูกบาตรและหินลาดหลังคุ้ม
