จากวิเคราะห์กระบวนเก็บข้อมูลการด้านการวิจัย คณะทันตแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล เก็บข้อมูลความพึงพอใจจากกลุ่มประชากร จำนวน 277 คน พบว่า ร้อยละ 58.1% ของอาจารย์ นักวิจัย และเจ้าหน้าที่สายสนับสนุน และเจ้าหน้าที่ที่
เกี่ยวข้อง ให้ความร่วมมือที่จะให้ความคิดเห็นในการสำรวจความพึงพอใจจากแบบสอบถาม และพบระดับความพึงพอใจของแต่ละหัวข้อ ดังนี้ 1.การวางแผนการจัดเก็บข้อมูลวิจัยของคณะทันตแพทยศาสตร์ คะแนนค่าเฉลี่ย 3.28 มีความพึงพอใจอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง 2.ความพึงพอใจต่อกระบวนการเก็บข้อมูลด้านการวิจัย คะแนนค่าเฉลี่ย 3.15 มีความพึงพอใจอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง 3.โอกาสในการพัฒนากระบวนการเก็บข้อมูลด้านการวิจัย คะแนนค่าเฉลี่ย 3.74 มีความพึงพอใจอยู่ในระดับมาก 4.การกำหนดเกณฑ์ การกรอกข้อมูลผลงานวิจัยในหน่วยงาน คะแนนค่าเฉลี่ย 3.74 มีความพึงพอใจอยู่ในระดับมาก 5.การเผยแพร่ข้อมูลด้านการวิจัย คะแนนค่าเฉลี่ย 3.35 มีความพึงพอใจอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง จากภาพรวมทุกหัวข้อการประเมินระดับความพึงพอใจเป็นคะแนนค่าเฉลี่ย 3.45 มีความพึงพอใจอยู่ใน ระดับมาก การศึกษาพบว่า ตำแหน่งทางวิชาการของสายวิชาการได้แก่อาจารย์ ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ รองศาสตราจารย์ และศาสตราจารย์ มีอิทธิพลต่อตัวแปรด้าน 1. การวางแผนการจัดเก็บข้อมูลวิจัยของคณะทันตแพทยศาสตร์ , 2. ความพึงพอใจต่อกระบวนการเก็บข้อมูลด้านการวิจัยและ 3. โอกาสในการพัฒนากระบวนการเก็บข้อมูลด้านการวิจัย
