ทำการวัดระดับเสียงในช่วงเวลาปฏิบัติงาน 8 ชั่วโมงของพนักงานในโรงงานตั้งแต่เวลา 9.00 - 17.00 น.
การเก็บตัวอย่างในการศึกษาครั้งนี้ใช้การเลือกตัวอย่างแบบไม่ใช้ความน่าจะเป็น (Non-probability sampling) ชนิดการเลือกตัวอย่างแบบเฉพาะเจาะจง (Purposive sampling)

ดำเนินการเก็บตัวอย่างของเสียงโดยใช้เครื่องวัดเสียง (Sound level meter) ห่างจากแหล่งสะท้อนเสียง 1.5 เมตร ตั้งที่ระดับความสูง 1.2 เมตร จากจุดเก็บตัวอย่างทั้งหมด 15 จุด คือ แผนกเช็คน้ำ (จุด1A และ 2B) แผนกทำเกลียว (จุด 3C และ 4D) แผนกคิวซี (จุด 5) แผนกยิงทราย (จุด 6) แผนกเจียรนัย (จุด 7E และ8F) แผนกสร้างแบบ (จุด 9) แผนกเตาอบ (จุด 10) แผนกเตาหลอมไฟฟ้า (จุด 11) แผนกเตาหลอมคิวโพลา (จุด12) แผนกโม่ทราย (จุด 13) แผนกเคาะเลือก (จุด 14) แผนกซ่อมบำรุง (จุด 15) ซึ่งได้แสดงไว้ในภาพที่ 1 แล้วนำมาเทียบ
