ปราสาทศีขรภูมิประกอบด้วยปรางค์อิฐ 5 องค์ องค์กลางเป็นปรางค์ประธาน มีปรางค์บริวารล้อมรอบอยู่ทีมุมทั้งสี่สร้างบนฐานเดียวกัน ก่อด้วยหินทรายและศิลาแลง ปราสาทหันหน้าไปทางทิศตะวันออกมีบันไดทางขึ้นและประตูทางเข้าเพียงด้านเดียว คือ ด้านทิศตะวันออกเช่นกัน
