ลักษณะประจำพันธุ์

เป็นข้าวเจ้าน้ำลึกไวต่อช่วงแสงออกดอกประมาณวันที่ 25 ตุลาคม ถึง 2 พฤศจิกายน ปลูกในพื้นที่ที่มีระดับน้ำไม่เกิน 100 เซนติเมตร มีความสามารถยืดปล้องได้ดีที่ระดับน้ำ 90 เซนติเมตร ลำต้นสูงประมาณ 170 เซนติเมตร ลำต้นสูงประมาณ 170 เซนติเมตร ทรงกอตั้ง ต้นแข็งปานกลาง ใบสีเขียว ใบธงตั้งตรง รวงยาว 27.7 เซ็นติเมตร เมล็ดข้าวเปลือกสีฟาง ยาว 10.2 มิลลิเมตร กว้าง 2.73 มิลลิเมตร และหนา 2.09 มิลลิเมตร เมล็ดข้าวกล้องรูปร่างเรียว ยาว 7.44 มิลลิเมตร กว้าง 2.33 มิลลิเมตร และหนา 1.83 มิลลิเมตร คุณภาพการสีดีมาก เมล็ดข้าวขาวใส มีท้องไข่น้อย สีเป็นข้าว 100% ได้ ปริมาณอมิโลสต่ำ (16.35%) อุณหภูมิแป้งสุกต่ำ ความคงตัวของแป้งสุกอ่อน (80 มม.) อัตราการยืดตัวของข้าวสุก 1.67 เท่า ข้าวเมื่อหุงต้มด้วยอัตราส่วน ข้าวต่อน้ำเป็น 1 ต่อ 1.7 เท่า(โดยน้ำหนัก)นุ่มเหนียว และมีกลิ่นหอม ระยะพักตัวของเมล็ดพันธุ์ประมาณ 9 สัปดาห์
