การสำรวจผลข้างเคียงจากการใช้เครื่องสำอาง ครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาผลข้างเคียงของการใช้เครื่องสำอาง และเพื่อเผยแพร่ข้อมูลการป้องกันและการเลือกใช้ยาอย่างถูกวิธี ประชากรที่ศึกษา ได้แก่ ประชากรนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปี 4 5 และ 6 โรงเรียนร้อยเอ็ดวิทยาลัย ปีการศึกษา 2558 ทั้งหมด 1500 คน ส่วนกลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการศึกษา คือ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 5 และ 6 จำนวน 50 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการศึกษาคือแบบสอบถามหรือแบบสำรวจ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ด้วยค่าเฉลี่ยร้อยละ ผลการสำรวจสรุปได้ว่า
1.ข้อมูลทั่วไปของผู้ตอบแบบสำรวจเพศชาย คิดเป็นร้อยละ 46 เพศหญิงคิดเป็นร้อยละ 54 และนักเรียนที่ตอบแบบสอบถามมากที่สุดคือนักเรียนชั้น ม.5 คิดเป็นร้อยละ 36 รองลงมา คือ นักเรียนชั้น ม.6 คิดเป็นร้อยละ 34 อันดับที่ 3 คือ นักเรียนชั้น ม.4 คิดเป็นร้อยละ 30
2.จากการสำรวจพบว่าข้อมูลที่ใช้มากที่สุด คิดเป็น 100 % คือ การใช้เครื่องสำอางที่มีการรับรองจากกรม อ.ย. รองลงมา คือ ตรวจสอบวันหมดอายุของเครื่องสำอาง คิดเป็นร้อยละ 70 อันดับที่ 3 คือ มีสิวหรือผดผื่นขึ้นตามใบหน้า คิดเป็นร้อยละ 66
