ในวันหยุดยาววันที่ 23-26 ตุลาคม 2557 ที่ผ่านมา ผมได้มีโอกาสกลับบ้าน โดยรถยนต์ส่วนตัว อำเภอเชียงกลาง จังหวัดน่าน กับบิดา และ ภรรยาผม ระยะทางจากจังหวัดสมุทรปราการ ไป จังหวัดน่าน ประมาณ 750 กิโลเมตร ระหว่างทางก่อนจะถึงบ้าน ผมได้แวะทำบุญที่วัดพระธาตุแช่แห้ง จังหวัดน่าน เนื่องในวันคล้ายวันเกิดของผม ถวายสังฆทาน นมัสการองค์พระธาตุ วัดพระธาตุแช่แห้ง เป็นปูชนียสถานสำคัญ ศักดิ์สิทธิคู่บ้านคู่เมืองน่าน มานานกว่า 600 ปี
ต่อมาได้แวะชมการแข่งขันเรือยาวนัดปิดสนามของจังหวัดน่าน ที่ริมแม่น้ำน่าน เรือยาวของจังหวัดน่าน จะแตกต่างจากจังหวัดอื่น คือ หัวเรือจะเป็นพญานาค โชคดีมากๆ ที่กลับบ้านครั้งนี้ได้มาชมการแข่งขันเรือยาว ผมไม่ได้ชมการแข่งเรือยาว มาเป็นเวลานานมากตั้งแต่ผมไปเรียนที่ จังหวัดลำปาง.
