ในปัจจุบัน การท่องเที่ยวแบบ Ecotourism ได้รับความนิยมมากขึ้น แต่ก็มีคนบางส่วนที่ยังไม่เข้าใจถึงความหมายที่แท้จริงของ Ecotourism ดังนั้นการวิจัยนี้จึงจัดทำขึ้นเพื่อให้ผู้คนเข้าใจถึงความหมายที่แท้จริงของ Ecotourism และนำไปเผยแพร่ได้อย่างถูกต้อง ในการวิจัยนี้ได้ใช้วิธีการ 2 ชนิดคือแบบสอบถามและการสัมภาษณ์ ในแบบสอบถามนั้นได้ผลลัพธ์ออกมาดังนี้ ในกลุ่มของนักเรียนถึงแม้ว่าคำถามแรกส่วนใหญ่จะตอบผิดแต่ส่วนใหญ่ได้ตอบคำถามในข้อที่ 2 และ 3 ถูก ในกลุ่มของอาจารย์ส่วนใหญ่ได้ตอบคำถามในข้อแรกถูกรวมถึงข้อที่สองและสามด้วย ในกลุ่มของพนักงานส่วนใหญ่ได้ตอบคำถามในข้อแรกถูก รวมถึงข้อ 2 และข้อสามด้วย ในส่วนของการสัมภาษณ์นั้นจะเห็นได้ว่าในคำถามที่หนึ่งส่วนใหญ่ตอบว่ารู้จัก Ecotourism แต่เมื่อพิจารณาจากคำตอบในข้อที่สองจะเห็นได้ว่ายังมีกลุ่มคนบางส่วนที่ไม่เข้าใจถึงความหมายที่แท้จริง จากข้อมูลดังกล่าวจะเห็นได้ว่า มีผู้คนบางส่วนยังไม่เข้าใจถึงความหมายที่แท้จริงของ Ecotourism
