งานวิจัยฉบับนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อการออกแบบลวดลายสำหรับผลิตภัณฑ์ของที่ระลึกให้กับอุทยานแห่งชาติเขาสก จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี ชุด MOOD OF RAFFLESIA. ได้แรงบันดาลใจจาก “ดอกบัวผุด” พรรณไม้หายากใกล้สูญพันธุ์เฉพาะถิ่นไม่สามารถพบตามธรรมชาติที่ไหนได้นอกจาก อุทยานแห่งชาติเขาสก จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี นำมาออกแบบลวดลายลงผลิตภัณฑ์ของที่ระลึก
วิธีการดำเนินการวิจัย เริ่มจากศึกษาที่มาและปัญหาการวิจัย ได้แก่ ค้นคว้าหาข้อมูลวิธีการทำ ออกแบบลวดลาย การลงพื้นที่จริงเพื่อเก็บข้อมูลในการออกแบบ จากนั้นพัฒนาโครงร่างทางการออกแบบจำนวน 10 ลวดลาย ศึกษาทฤษฎีที่เกี่ยวข้องแล้ว นำมาปรับใช้ในการออกแบบเพื่อให้ผลงานมีความสอดคล้องกับวัตถุประสงค์การวิจัย
