1.งานด้านแผนและงบประมาณ สามารถแบ่งได้เป็น งานแผนและงานงประมาณ ในส่วนของงานแผนจะประกอบไปด้วย แผนยุทธศาสตร์ และแผนปฏิบัติราชการประจำปี ซึ่งจะมีการระดมสมองจากผู้บริหารและบุคลากร คณะพยาบาลศาสตร์ เพื่อวิเคราะห์ SWOT สำหรับประกอบการจัดทำแผน
งานงบประมาณ คณะฯจะมีงบประมาณ 2 ประเภท ได้แก่ งบประมาณแผ่นดินและงบประมาณเงินรายได้
- งบประมาณแผ่นดิน หมายถึง งบประมาณที่มาจากแผนการใช้จ่ายเงินของรัฐบาลในช่วงระยะเวลาหนึ่ง เพื่อใช้จ่ายในการดำเนินงานบริหารประเทศ โดยปีงบประมาณจะเริ่มตั้งแต่วันที่ 1 ตุลาคมของปีนี้ ถึง วันที่ 30 กันยายนของปีถัดไป
- งบประมาณเงินรายได้ หมายถึง งบประมาณที่คณะฯ สามารถหาได้ ซึ่งไม่เกี่ยวข้องกับงบแผ่นดิน เช่น ค่าธรรมเนียมการศึกษา ค่าตอบแทนจากการให้บริการวิชาการ งบจากการเสนองานวิจัย เงินบริจาคและอื่นๆ
2.งานด้านการประกันคุณภาพ มีบทบาทในการรวบรวมข้อมูล ตามตัวชี้วัด และช่วย อัพโหลดข้อมูลขึ้นบนเว็ปไซต์ของสำนักงานประเมินและประกันคุณภาพ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น เพื่อให้กรรมการตรวจประเมิน ประเมินคุณภาพการศึกษาของคณะฯ
3.อัตรากำลัง ทำหน้าที่ในการวิเคราะห์อัตรากำลังของคณะพยาบาลศาสตร์ วิเคราะห์ภาระงานและจัดทำคำขออัตรากำลัง เพื่อให้การบริหารทรัพยากรบุคคลเป็นไปอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ
4.รายงานประจำปี เมื่อสิ้นปีงบประมาณ จะมีการรวบรวมข้อมูลเพื่อสรุปการดำเนินงานในปีงบประมาณที่ผ่านมา ซึ่งในรายงานประจำปีจะบอกถึง การใช้จ่ายงบประมาณ การดำเนินงานองหน่วยงานต่างๆภายในคณะฯ การประสบผลสำเร็จของการจัดทำโครงการ ซึ่งจะเป็นประโยชน์ในการอ้างอิงและเผยแพร่ การบริหารของคณะฯ และใช้เป็นข้อมูลในการแลกเปลี่ยนข่าวสารระหว่างหน่วยงานทั้งภายในและภายนอกมหาวิทยาลัย
