ดังนั้นการทดลองนี้จึงมุ่งศึกษาลักษณะทางพืชสวนของมะเขือเทศ ผลผลิตของมะเขือเทศ และสารอาหารในมะเขือเทศ เพื่อใช้เป็นข้อมูลพื้นฐานที่จะให้มีการส่งเสริมการปลูกมะเขือเทศเป็นพันธุ์การค้า

อุปกรณ์และวิธีการ
วัสดุพันธุ์พืช : มะเขือเทศ 5 สายพันธุ์ ได้แก่ Golden Jubilee, Beefsteak Red, Cal Ace VF, Homestead 24 และ Ace 55
