ทปอ.เห็นชอบให้มหาวิทยาลัยรัฐ 27 แห่งทั่วประเทศ เป็นผู้นำเรื่องอารยสถาปัตย์ สู่เป้าหมาย Inclusive Sosiety

การประชุมใหญ่อธิการบดีแห่งประเทศไทย เมื่อวันที่ 24 สิงหาคมที่ผ่านมา ซึ่งประกอบด้วยอธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยชั้นนำของรัฐ 27 แห่งทั่วประเทศ โดยมี ศ.นพ.รัชตะ รัชตะนาวิน อธิการบดี ม.มหิดล (รมว.สาธารณสุข รัฐบาลประยุทธ์ 1) ในฐานะประธานที่ประชุมใหญ่อธิการบดีแห่งประเทศไทย หรือ ทปอ. เป็นประธานการประชุม

ที่ประชุมใหญ่ ทปอ.ได้นำวาระสำคัญเรื่องอารยสถาปัตย์เข้าสู่การพิจารณา จากนั้น ทปอ.มีมติว่า จะนำเรื่องอารยสถาปัตย์ หรือหลักการออกแบบที่ทำให้ทุกคน ทุกวัย ทุกสภาพร่างกาย สามารถเข้าถึงได้ และใช้ประโยชน์ได้ โดยสะดวก ปลอดภัย เป็นธรรม ทั่วถึง เท่าเทียม มาใช้ในการปรับปรุง และสร้างทำตึกอาคาร และพื้นที่สาธารณะต่างๆภายในมหาวิทยาลัยของรัฐทั้ง 27 แห่งทั่วประเทศ เพือให้มหาวิทยาลัยในสังกัด ทปอ.เป็นตัวอย่าง และต้นแบบที่ดีในเรื่องอารยสถาปัตย์ เพื่อเดินหน้าสู่เป้าหมาย Inclusive Society หรือสังคมที่ทุกคนอยู่ร่วมกันได้อย่างมีความสุข
