แนวทางในการแก้ปัญหาหรือลดความขัดแย้ง
การแก้ปัญหาความขัดแย้ง หมายถึง การลดหรือขจัดความขัดแย้ง เพื่อทำให้พฤติกรรมของการขัดแย้งหายไปหรือสิ้นสุดลง ซึ่งปัญหาด้านความขัดแย้งของวัยรุ่น มีแนวทางแก้ปัญหา ดังนี้

ให้คำแนะนำแก่วัยรุ่นที่มีปัญหา โดยหาบุคลากรที่มีประสบการณ์ เข้าใจความรู้สึกและความต้องการของวัยรุ่นมาช่วยแก้ปัญหา
ครู อาจารย์ และผู้ปกครองต้องเข้าใจปัญหาความขัดแย้งและหาแนวทางแก้ไข เช่น การแก้ปัญหาโดยการใช้แนวคิดเชิงบวก การให้นักเรียนมีส่วนร่วมในการแก้ปัญหา ตลอดจนการแก้ปัญหาโดยไม่ใช้ความรุนแรง
วัยรุ่นที่มีอารมณ์รุนแรง สามารถใช้หลักธรรมเพื่อช่วยระงับอารมณ์ได้ เช่น การฝึกวิปัสสนาเจริญสติปัฏฐานหรือฝึกอานาปานสติ เป็นต้น
จัดให้มีโครงการเสริมสร้างสันติวัฒนธรรมในโรงเรียนและพัฒนาศักยภาพบุคลากรในสถานศึกษา
มีวิธีการหรือกระบวนการคลี่คลายความขัดแย้งโดยใช้หลักการประนีประนอม
