การศึกษานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ วัตถุประสงค์ 1).เพื่อศึกษาผลกระทบของปัจจัยต่างๆที่มีผลต่อการส่งออกยางพาราไทย2).เพื่อศึกษาปริมาณการส่งออกยางจากตลาดส่งออกยางที่สำคัญของไทย3). เพื่อเป็นประโยชน์ต่อผู้ส่งออกยางพาราของประเทศไทยข้อมูลที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์เป็นข้อมูลทุติยภูมิรายปีตั้งแต่ พ.ศ 2539-2558 ปัจจัยที่นำมาวิเคราะห์ได้แก่ 1.ราคายางพาราส่งออกของประเทศไทย 2. ดัชนีผลผลิตผลยางพาราของประเทศไทย 3. อัตราเงินเฟ้อ 4. อัตราดอกเบี้ยเงินกู้เกษตรกร โดยใช้วิธีการสร้างสมการถดถอยเชิงซ้อน ด้วยวิธีกำลังสองน้อยที่สุดในการประมาณค่าสัมประสิทธิ์ของความสัมพันธ์ในแบบจำลอง
จากการศึกษาพบว่าปัจจัยที่มีผลผลกระทบต่อการส่งออกยางพาราไทย อย่างมีนัยทางสถิติที่ระดับความเชื่อมั่นร้อยละ 95 คือ ดัชนีผลผลิตยางพารา โดยมีความสัมพันธ์ไปในทิศทางเดียวกัน และตรงตามสมมุติมาตรฐาน
