โครงงานเรื่อง ประเมินประสิทธิภาพเครือข่ายไร้สายภายในมหาวิทยาลัยอีสเทิร์นเอเชีย มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาการครอบคลุมของพื้นที่ให้บริการแลนไร้สาย และมหาวิทยาลัยได้ทราบถึงความหนาแน่นของผู้ใช้งานแต่ละพื้นที่ภายในมหาวิทยาลัย โดยคณะผู้จัดทำได้ออกแบบการประเมินประสิทธิภาพเครือข่ายไร้สายภายในมหาวิทยาลัยอีสเทิร์นเอเชียโดยระบบดังกล่าวสามารถ เพิ่ม ลบ แก้ไข จุดแอ็กเซสพอยน์ได้ ทั้งหมด 36 จุด โดยคณะผู้จัดทำโครงงานได้เตรียมข้อมูลก่อนการพัฒนาระบบโดยการสำรวจจุดแอ็กเซสพอยน์ที่มีให้บริการภายในมหาวิทยาลัย รวมถึงการสัมภาษณ์ผู้ดูแลระบบเครือข่ายของมหาวิทยาลัยจากสำนักสารสนเทศ เพื่อเป็นข้อมูลในการพัฒนาระบบดังกล่าว
