งานวิจัยชิ้นนี้จัดขึ้นโดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อการศึกษาคุณสมบัติทางกายภาพและความเป็นพิษต่อพืชของน้ำหมักชีวภาพ เพื่อนำไปใช้ประโยชน์ซึ่งจะป้องกันและลดผลกระทบต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมที่เกิดขึ้นภายในโรงงาน โดยจัดทำน้ำหมักชีวภาพจากขยะมะเขือและขยะขิง ในการศึกษาครั้งนี้ผู้วิจัยได้แบ่งการทดลองออกเป็น 6 ทรีตเมนต์ โดยใช้ขยะมะเขือและขยะขิงในอัตราส่วนที่แตกต่างกัน คือ (100:0), (50:50), (60:40), (70:30), (80:20), (90:10) หมักเป็นระยะเวลา 7 บันทึกผลลักษณะคุณสมบัติทางกายภาพ ค่าความเป็นกรด-ด่าง ทดสอบความเป็นพิษต่อพืช โดยใช้ความเข้มข้น 4 ระดับ คือ 1 ppm, 2 ppm, 2.5 ppm และไม่ใส่น้ำหมักชีวภาพ เพื่อใช้ในการฉีดพ้นผักกาดขาวทุก 3, 5 และ 7 วัน ทำการบันทึกผลความผิดปกติ, ความสูง และหลังจากผักกาดขาวมีอายุ 20 วันนำมาชั่งน้ำหนักสด
