การวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงสำรวจ มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อศึกษา และเปรียบเทียบพฤติกรรมการออกกำลังกาย และปัจจัยทีมีผลต่อพฤติกรรมการออกกำลังกายของคนในชุมชนและมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลกรุงเทพ กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี จำนวน 200 คนและคนในชุมชน 150 คน เลือกกลุ่มตัวอย่างแบบบังเอิญ (Accidental sampling) เก็บข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบสอบถาม วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยการหาค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน การทดสอบค่าที (t-test) การทดสอบค่าเอฟ (F-test) และค่าสัมประสิทธิสหสัมพันธ์ของเพียร์สัน (Pearson product moment corr I elation coefficient)
ผลของการประเมินความพึงพอใจของผู้ใช้ระบบงานซื้ออุปกรณ์กีฬาเพื่อสุขภาพในภาพรวมพบว่า ผู้เชี่ยวชาญมีความพึงพอใจในระดับดี ผู้ใช้งานระบบมีความพึงพอใจในระดับดีมาก ผู้ใช้งานทั่วไปมีความพึงพอใจในระดับดีมาก
