โครงงานเรื่อง การศึกษาประสิทธิภาพของพริกไทยดำและพริกไทยขาวในการไล่มดวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อศึกษาประสิทธิภาพพริกไทยดำและพริกไทยขาวที่มีผลต่อการไล่มด 2)เพื่อลดปัญหาสิ่งแวดล้อมโดยใช้สมุนไพรธรรมชาติทนแทนการใช้สารเคมี คณะผู้จัดทำได้ศึกษามีวิธีการทดลองโดยนำพริกไทยดำและพริกไทยขาวใส่ในเครื่องปั่นไฟฟ้าปั่นให้ละเอียดนำผสมปูนปาสเตอร์ อัดเป็นแท่งขนาดเท่าหลอดดูดชาไข่มุกแล้วนำไปตากแดดให้แห้งและไปขีดรอบบริเวณที่กำหนดไว้ซึ่งมีมดแดง ผลจากการศึกษาพบว่า ชอล์กที่มีส่วนผสมของพริกไทยดำและพริกไทยขาวสามารถไล่มดได้ และเมื่อเปรียบเทียบประสิทธิภาพของพริกไทยดำและพริกไทยขาวพบว่าพริกไทยดำสามารถไล่มดได้ดีกว่าพริกไทยขาว
