ในความคิดของฉัน การที่อุตสาหกรรมท่องเที่ยวดีขึ้นนั้น รู้สึกดีใจที่เศรษฐกิจของประเทศจะเพิ่มมากขึ้น พ่อค้าแม่ค้า ผู้ประกอบการมีรายได้ และยังส่งผลให้ประเทศมีความก้าวหน้าด้านการท่องเที่ยว ทำให้ประเทศอื่นๆ อยากที่จะมาเที่ยวในประเทศไทยมากขึ้น ซึ่งจะส่งผลกระทบทั้งดีและไม่ดีตามมาหลายๆ ด้าน เช่น เศรษฐกิจ สังคม วัฒนธรรม และสิ่งแวดล้อม ไม่ใช่ว่าการที่อุตสาหกรรมท่องเที่ยวที่ดีขึ้นจะมีแต่ข้อดี ซึ่งในความเป็นจริงก็จะมีข้อเสียควบคู่กันไปด้วย ไม่ว่าจะเป็นค่าครองชีพของคนในพื้นที่เพิ่มสูงขึ้น, ปัญหาการบิดเบือนหลอกลวงเอารัดเอาเปรียบนักท่องเที่ยว, พื้นที่ธรรมชาติบางส่วนถูกทำลาย เพื่อการสร้างที่พักในแหล่งธรรมชาติ และขยะมูลฝอยต่าง ๆ ที่เกิดจากนักท่องเที่ยวและผู้ประกอบการ ฯลฯ
