ทางคณะผู้วิจัยได้ทำการศึกษาข้อมูลของนักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 4 คณะศิลปศาสตร์ เอกภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อการสื่อสาร มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลธัญบุรี โดยการสุ่มตัวอย่างอย่างมีโครงสร้าง ซึ่งใช้แบบสอบถามในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล โดยแบบสอบถามประกอบไปด้วยข้อมูลต่างๆ อาทิเช่น ข้อมูลภูมิหลัง ภูมิลำเนา เกรดเฉลี่ย อาชีพที่อยากทำหลังจบการศึกษา อาชีพพบิดามารดา รายได้เฉลี่ยของครอบครัว รวมไปถึงคำถามด้านปัจจัยต่างๆที่มีผลต่อการเลือกอาชีพ ซึ่งได้นำแบบสอบถามไปแจกจ่ายยังกลุ่มตัวอย่างเพื่อทำการสำรวจข้อมูลต่อไป
