การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อประเมินกรอบการถ่ายทอดความรู้สำหรับการพัฒนาซอฟต์แวร์ที่มีความปลอดภัย และเสนอแนวทางปรับปรุงจากปัญหาที่เกิดขึ้นระหว่างการประเมิน กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการทำวิจัย คือ ทีมพัฒนาซอฟต์แวร์ของบริษัทหนึ่งในประเทศไทย ที่ทำการพัฒนาซอฟต์แวร์เพื่อจำหน่าย โดยมีจำนวนทั้งหมด 1 ทีม และมีสมาชิกในทีมทั้งหมด 10 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ กรอบการถ่ายทอดความรู้สำหรับการพัฒนาซอฟต์แวร์ที่มีความปลอดภัย เป็นการนำเอาขั้นตอนการถ่ายทอดความรู้ 4 ขั้นตอนมาจับคู่กับกระบวนการพัฒนาซอฟต์แวร์ที่มีความปลอดภัย และเครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการประเมินกรอบการถ่ายทอดความรู้ คือ หลักการวัดแบบสมดุล (Balance Scorecard: BSC) ประกอบด้วย 4 มุมมองได้แก่ มุมมองด้านประโยชน์ มุมมองด้านทีมพัฒนา มุมมองด้านการปฏิบัติงาน และมุมมองด้านการเรียนรู้การพัฒนา โดยแบ่งตัวชี้วัดออกเป็นสองด้านได้แก่ ด้านกระบวนการถ่ายทอดความรู้ และด้านการพัฒนาซอฟต์แวร์ที่มีความปลอดภัย ในการประเมินผลแต่ละด้านได้มีการกำหนดวัตถุประสงค์ ตัวชี้วัด และเป้าหมาย เพื่อใช้สำหรับเป็นเกณฑ์ในการประเมินผลร่วมด้วย การเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลจะใช้วิธีการสังเกต สัมภาษณ์ และแบบสอบถาม ผลการวิจัยพบว่าการดำเนินการตามกรอบการถ่ายทอดความรู้สำหรับการพัฒนาซอฟต์แวร์ที่มีความปลอดภัย สามารถลดจำนวนข้อผิดพลาดระหว่างการตรวจสอบได้ ร้อยละ 54 ลดจำนวนช่องโหว่ของซอฟต์แวร์ที่ทำการพัฒนาเมื่อเทียบกับกระบวนการเดิมได้ ร้อยละ 40 สร้างความพึงพอใจให้กับทีมพัฒนาซอฟต์แวร์ในด้านกระบวนการ ด้านประโยชน์ ในระดับพอใจมาก นอกจากนี้การดำเนินการยังใช้ระยะเวลาในการดำเนินการโครงการตามแผนที่วางไว้โดยระยะเวลาที่ใช้ลดลงจากแผน ร้อยละ 24.10
