บทคัดย่อ
งานวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1)เพื่อศึกษาโอกาสและอุปสรรคในการพัฒนาการท่องเที่ยวในชุมชนพื้นที่เอราวัณเพื่อรองรับการเปิดสมาคมเศรษฐกิจอาเซียน2)เพื่อศึกษาการมีส่วนร่วมของคนในชุมชนในการพัฒนาพื้นที่น้ำตกเอราวัณเพื่อรองรับการเปิดสมาคมเศรษฐกิจอาเซียนการวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการศึกษาเชิงคุณภาพด้วยวิธีการวิจัยเชิงการสัมภาษณ์แบบเจาะลึก (In-depth Interview) ประชากรในวิจัยครั้งนี้ คือ ผู้นำชุมชนและคนในชุมชนของหมู่บ้านโดยรอบในพื้นที่บริเวณน้ำตกเอราวัณจำนวน 4คนผลการวิจัยพบว่า ใหญ่เป็นนักท่องเที่ยวชาวไทย และมีชาวต่างชาติอยู่ในจำนวนหนึ่งโดยคนในชุมชนส่วนใหญ่ประกอบอาชีพค้าขายและประกอบอาชีพข้าราชการ/พนักงานรัฐวิสาหกิจ รายได้เฉลี่ยต่อเดือน 7,001–15,000 บาท โดยพฤติกรรมในเดินทางมาท่องเที่ยวก่อนแล้วและมีส่วนใหญ่ที่มาเป็นครั้งแรก จึงทำให้แหล่งท่องเที่ยวน้ำตกเอราวัณเป็นที่นิยมทั้งชาวไทยและต่างชาติ จึงทำให้ชุมชนเล็งเห็นความสำคัญทำให้เกิดการมีส่วนร่วมของคนในชุมชนในการพัฒนาแหล่งท่องเที่ยวเพื่อรองรับสมาคมเศรษฐกิจอาเซียน ซึ่งนักท่องเที่ยวที่มาชมมีความประสงค์ที่จะกลับมาน้ำตกเอราวัณอย่างแน่นอน และผู้วิจัยได้ศึกษาแนวทางโอกาสและอุปสรรคในการพัฒนาการท่องเที่ยวในชุมชนพื้นที่น้ำตกเอราวัณเพื่อรองรับสมาคมเศรษฐกิจอาเซียน เพื่อให้เป็นแหล่งการเรียนรู้แก่กลุ่มเยาวชน นักศึกษา นักวิจัย และกลุ่มนักท่องเที่ยวเพื่อรองรับการเปิดประชาคมเศรษฐกิจอาเซียนในปี 2558 ที่ยั่งยืนต่อไป
