การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาพื้นที่และสำรวจผู้ป่วยที่เป็นโรคมะเร็งเต้านม และวิเคราะห์การกระจายของโรคมะเร็งเต้านมในพื้นที่ตำบลวัดจันทร์ ซึ่งได้เริ่มจากการรวบรวมข้อมูลผู้ป่วยโรคมะเร็งเต้านมจากโรงพยาบาลส่งเสริมสุขภาพตำบลวัดจันทร์ และได้ลงพื้นที่จับพิกัดตำแหน่งผู้ป่วยโรคมะเร็งเต้านม ในเขตตำบลวัดจันทร์ จากนั้นเมื่อได้ตำแหน่งพิกัดตำแหน่งผู้ป่วยเบาแล้วทำการทำแบบทดสอบโดยการสัมภาษณ์ประชากรตัวอย่างเพื่อศึกษาด้านข้อมูลทั่วไปของประชากรหญิง โดยทำการสุ่มประชากรตัวอย่างจำนวน 75 คน จากนั้นได้จัดทำแผนที่แสดงการกระจายของกลุ่มเสี่ยงและผู้ป่วยโรคมะเร็งเต้านมในพื้นที่ตำบลวัดจันทร์ โดยได้วิเคราะห์ทางด้านการกระจายในพื้นที่ตำบลวัดจันทร์
จากการ วิเคราะห์การกระจาย พบว่ามีผู้ป่วยทีการกระจายและกระจุกตัวแตกต่างกัน เนื่องจากในเขตชุมชนจึงมีการกระจายและในเขตบ้านจัดสรรจึงทำให้มีการกระจุกตัว ซึ่งมีความสัมพันธ์ทางพันธุกรรมค่อนข้างน้อย และจากการวิเคราะห์กลุ่มเสี่ยง ซึ่งแบ่งเป็นความเสี่ยง 3 ระดับ คือ เสี่ยงน้อย เสี่ยงปานกลางและเสี่ยงมาก พบว่ากลุ่มประชากรตัวอย่างของตำบลวัดจันทร์มีการเสี่ยงส่วนใหญ่อยู่ในระดับเสี่ยงปานกลางและรองลงมาคือเสี่ยงมาก โดยมีการกระจายตัวอยู่ทั่วพื้นที่ตำบลวัดจันทร์ เพราะพื้นที่อยู่ในเขตเมืองประชากรส่วนใหญ่จึงอยู่ในวัยทำงานบวกกับอายุจึงเกิดภาวะเครียดรวมไปถึงปัจจัยหลายๆด้าน จึงทำให้มีประชากรอยู่ในแนวโน้มที่เสี่ยงจะเป็นโรคมะเร็งเต้านมมาก ซึ่งสภาพแวดล้อมต่างๆมีส่วนที่ทำให้เป็นโรคมะเร็งเต้านมได้
