พระไกรสิงหนาท(บุญมา) ได้ย้ายเมืองจากบ้านโนนเสลา ไปตั้งที่บ้านลาดหนองสามหมื่น(เขตอำเภอภูเขียว) และย้ายเมืองมาตั้งที่บ้านยาง คือ ที่ตั้งอำเภอเกษตรสมบูรณ์ในปัจจุบัน ให้กรมการเมืองปลูกสร้างจวนอย่างใหญ่โต มีการสร้างกำแพงเมือง โดยเอาซุงมาตัดเป็นท่อนฝังเป็นพืดล้อมรอบจวนเจ้าเมือง และปลูกต้นตาลเป็นแถวสำหรับผูกช้าง และท่านพิจารณาว่าตำบลนางแดด และตำบลหนองบัวแดงอยู่ไกลยากแก่การติดต่อราชการ จึงรายงานไปยัง
กรุงรัตนโกสินทร์ ขอแต่งตั้งให้พระชุมพลภักดี ปกครองตำบลนางแดดและตำบลหนองบัวแดง ซึ่งเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของอำเภอเกษตรสมบูรณ์
