Than Salaka Pat (Offering by Drawing Lots)
Than Salaka Pat is a tradition of offering things to monks by drawing, lots. It is called Boon Khao Salak or Boon Khao Sak by Isan (Northeastern), people and Taan Kuay Salak or Kin Kuay Salak by Northern. People. In the, central region it is celebrated around the sixth lunar month until the beginnig of Buddhist Lent (May-July).In the northern and northeastern regions it is, celebrated between the tenth lunar month to the full moon of the eleventh. Lunar month (around October).
